Aunque el Día de la Tierra se celebró el miércoles pasado, las actividades para crear conciencia sobre su cuidado continuan, tal como lo demuestra el festival Pathway to Paris.

Ese es el nombre del festival virtual, que organinza la ONG del mismo nombre y que promueve el uso de las energías renovables en las ciudades.

Y para llevar ese mensaje y celebrar los 50 años del Día de la Tierra es que creó este festival, que el domingo 26 de abril podrás seguir a través de Instagram.

Ahí, participarán artistas que habitualmente se comprometen con causas sociales, como Patti Smith (en la foto), la poeta y música de New York que el año pasado tuvimos el gusto de escuchar en Chile con un inolvidable concierto en el Teatro Caupolicán.

También estará en Pathway to Paris un músico cercano a Smith y con quien ha colaborado, el ex líder de R.E.M. Michael Stipe.

Será todo un lujo poder escuchar en vivo a este influyente músico de Athens, Georgia, porque después de la disolución de su influyente banda sus apariciones públicas se cuentan con los dedos de una mano.

La cantautora Cat Power, el bajista de los Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea, el cantautor Ben Harper y la fundadora de Pathway to Paris, Jesse Paris Smith, también serán parte del evento.

¿Y a qué hora podrás ver el festival? A las 4 PM del domingo en Chile, a través del Instagram de Pathway to Paris.
